About
I work primarily (but not exclusively) within the world of contemporary dance as a performer, choreographer and producer. I am local to Brussels, Antwerp and London.
SERIOUS(ish) BIOGRAPHY
Recently I've been:
Dancing in projects with SIDEWARDS, Orley Quick & the Hairy Heroines, Daniel Linehan, Agostina d'Allesandro, Nacera Belaza, Fernanda Prata (Punchdrunk & Jasmin Vardimon Company), Theo Clinkard, Kerry Nichols, and Lea Anderson.
Making in projects for/at SIDEWARDS, Resolution 2019, the Royal Opera House London, One Dance UK, Siobhan Davies Dance.
Other miscellaneous roles include assistant curator of SCREWED, a sell out dance festival at The Bunker in London; extra work for Tanztheater Wuppertal | Pina Bausch, and teaching for Move Me Dance.
Formal training includes: Trinity Laban Centre for Advanced Training programme, Lewisham College, London Contemporary Dance School (all UK), and the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp (BE)...
SILLY (but more real) BIOGRAPHY
Alarmed and confused at the state of the world but carrying on anyway, Elliot fondly remembers playing musical statues and being a fish in movement classes at school. Today his artistic practice remains largely similar frequently working with games and scores and challenging impersonation and embodiment. Coming from a background of jazz music and alternative stand-up comedy, his hiddledy-piggledy performance experience (dance and otherwise) has seen him co-developing 'skateboard technique', becoming a non-verbal newsreader, playing imaginary tennis, engaging in curtsey competitions, and inventing dog breeds.
