About
I'm a theatre maker / contemporary dancer / performance artist living in Brussels and London.
'SERIOUS' BIOGRAPHY
Recently I've been:
Performing in projects with Anastassya Savitsky, ONAF, Sidney Leoni, SIDEWARDS, Nat Gras, Orley Quick & the Hairy Heroines,
Making in projects for/at SIDEWARDS, Resolution 2019, the Royal Opera House London, One Dance UK, Siobhan Davies Dance,
Other miscellaneous roles include assistant curator of SCREWED - a sell out dance festival at The Bunker in London, extra work for Tanztheater Wuppertal | Pina Bausch, and teaching for Move Me Dance.
Institutional training includes: Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp (BE), London Contemporary Dance School, Lewisham College and Trinity Laban Centre for Advanced Training programme (all UK).
SILLY BIOGRAPHY
Alarmed and confused at the state of the world but carrying on anyway, Elliot fondly remembers playing musical statues and being a fish in movement classes at school. Today his artistic practice remains largely similar frequently working with games and scores and challenging impersonation and embodiment. Coming from a background of jazz music and alternative stand-up comedy, his higgledy-piggledy performance experience (dance and otherwise) has seen him co-developing 'skateboard technique', deliberately mislabelling body parts, playing imaginary tennis, engaging (and winning) in curtsey competitions, and inventing dog breeds.
